PV Sindhu, this 21-year-old girl from Andhra Pradesh is on a high. She has become the first Indian woman to reach the Women’s finals at the Olympics. And again, she is the first woman to win a silver medal while all the other Indian women medalists had won the Bronze. Now, this is one of the most spectacular moments for any Indian, the moment when this young girl made it to the finals by winning the first set of the match. Sindhu has made India proud by winning a Silver medal and today when she faces Carolina Marin, the world champion in badminton from Spain, all eye are set in this match.
