Amazon Beats Apple, Launches ‘Pay With Amazon’ In India
Earlier it was reported that Apple is all its way to introduce Apple Pay system, where all its customers can pay on its own site. It is cited as the most secure and convenient mode of online payment. But, to one’s surprise, they have been backed by another big giant. It is none other than Amazon!
Yes! Amazon has launched their own pay system tool, which they had claimed to make online and mobile payments more convenient and secure. This tool can be used by other e-commerce companies as well for a smoother and more convenient system of payment on their own sites.
It is an advantage for Amazon because Apple Pay is currently available only in the US and might take much longer time to reach India. It might take even longer time for the retailers to think if they should link their site to this new system. Pay With Amazon is already live with a couple of Indian e-commerce sites including Fommy and Shopyourworld, which is a bit hit to Apple for sure. It has also been reported that talks are on with other biggies like Babyoye, Mebelkart and Webmallindia.
Pay With Amazon supports mobile as well so that it will be helpful for the merchants. They can run it on their Android, iOS and Windows Apps. The best part of it is that one need not create an account or remember many passwords, fill payment or other shipping details for each time.
Srinivas Rao, the in-charge of Pay For Amazon recently said, “By launching Pay with Amazon we aim to provide a trusted payment bridge between customers and sellers and further aid and support the growth and integration of small and medium businesses in the new digital economy.”
It has been seen that people now hardly use money from their wallets even to pay a bill. Paytm, FreeCharge and Atom have already occupied their space in the market. Amazon is more accepted and trusted and has a bigger connection in the market, which can enhance the credibility of its new venture as well.Amazon Beats Apple, Launches ‘Pay With Amazon' In India by CouponRani
