You normally use flowers for beauty purposes, to gift someone or to wear it on your hair, to look all the more beautiful. These are the most common uses of flowers. But, have you ever heard that flowers are edible? Yea, one or two you must be aware. But, have you ever heard the fact that there are almost 42 types of edible flowers?

Allium

All roses are edible with slight differences in their taste depending on the strength of the color. It is mostly used in desserts and for garnishing.

The flowers taste more like herbs alike its leaves. It is also used for garnishing dishes.
Sunflower
Sunflower petals are edible. They are even used for making oil.
Violets
Violets are not only beautiful, but are also edible. It is used for garnishing salads, desserts and drinks.
