Just because of this single step, Motorola has become ahead of Google’s  Nexus 4,  Nexus 5,  Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 handsets in getting the first upgradation of the new software . They have said that one cannot downgrade to a previous software version after installing this update.

Motorola has also given instructions on their support page for successful installation. You can do a successful installation of the new software only if your phone has atleast 50% battery charge and also if connected to a Wi-Fi network. Once the installation is completed, the phone will restart on its own. They also clarify that if you have not received any notification for this update, you can try for the same manually. The instructions are given on the support page.

They claim that Android™ 5.0  Lollipop improves one’s experience in many areas including visual style and how you interact with your device. You can experience a difference even look wise and will be able to feel it as well. Lollipop also includes a new flashlight option as part of Quick settings.

One can pin an app on the screen for a quick view. Your phone will now not connect to a Wi-Fi access point unless there is a verified Internet connection with the new update. This facilitates hand-offs between Wi-Fi and cellular connections, thus helping to maintain your video chat or voice-over-IP call as you switch.
