Samsung Launches Selfie Phone Galaxy Grand Prime

Samsung finally launched their first ever selfie phone. Named Galaxy Grand Prime, the handset was launched in India on Tuesday and is priced Rs.15499. The phone is available in two colors – white and grey. This phone is available in Flipkart, Amazon India, Snapdeal, etc

Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime has an 8 megapixel rear camera as well as a wide angle 5 mega pixel front camera. The front camera has an 85 degree wide lens which makes it a perfect choice for taking selfies. This feature helps the phone to capture and fit in more people which means it is a perfect choice for group selfies.

Samsung Galaxy Grand has a 5-inch TFT screen with qHD (960 x 540 pixels) resolution and has dual sim. The resolution is rather too low considering the size of the screen and the price of the phone.  It is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor. It has 1GB RAM and an 8 GB internal memory, which is expandable using a microSD card up to 64GB. The handset uses Android KitKat and Samsung’s proprietary TouchWiz user interface. It has 2600mAH battery that enables up to 10 hours of video playback and 17 hours of talk time. It measures 144.8×72.1×8.6mm and weighs 156 grams.
