Xiaomi To Launch World’s Cheapest 4G Smartphone
Xiaomi, the Chinese electronic company, which is headquartered in Beijing, is all set to launch the world’s cheapest 4G smartphone. Reports claim that the new handset is yet to get a name but, the makers have already started working on its making.
According to sources, the price of this smartphone will be CNY 399 which is approximately Rs.4000 and is said to h the Chinese electronic company, which is headquartered in Beijing, is all set to launch the world’s cheapest 4G smartphonave features including LTE support, apart from an HD (720p) display and pack 1GB of RAM.
Gizchina reported saying that the new smartphone is more likely to be based on the new Leadcore chipset, which was recently invested by Xiaomi. This rumoured chipset Leadcore is the LC1860 which is said to be built on 28nm fabrication processor. It is said to utilize 2GHz Cortex-A7 cores along with a Mali T628 GPU.
The rumoured specifications of the handset also say that it will support upto 2K LCD displays, record videos up to 720p at 120fps and 1080p at 60fps, along with other features like 4G LTE, 3G, GSM/ EDGE, WCDMA, LTE FDD, and TD-LTE network connectivity.
Since the making of the handset is still on the process, the known specifications are limited. Apart from this, it is said that Xiaomi is also working on the successor to the RedMi Note , which is rumoured to be known as RedMi Note 2. Keeping aside all these, Xiaomi has also been reported to be planning to enter into the world of camera with their first new product, which will likely be a Go-Pro Style action camera which is similar to the RE camera which was recently unveiled by HTC.Xiaomi To Launch World’s Cheapest 4G Smartphone by Gayathry
